Many Monarchs claimed to rule by devine right, ruling either by the will of God or being a God themselves.

would be very chotic. It is very old and used by ancient tribes.

Authoritarianism- Social control charactersized by strict obedience to the authority of a state, maintaining and enforcing control through the use of oppressive measures.
